Q: How do I know which study is right for me?

A: Each of our current and past studies has a separate page with all the information a participant needs to know before signing up, including a brief description and FAQs. Click to learn more.

Q: Will my data be confidential?

A: Yes, all ELP data is completely confidential. We do not publish individual data but findings grouped from multiple families and children.

Q: How can I see what my data will be used for?

A: We list all of our publications and news articles on our website.

Q: Are there COVID restrictions for in-person studies?

A: Yes, we have a separate FAQ that answers all COVID related questions can be found below.

Q: Can I refer my friends with children to you?

A: Yes! After your friend fills out the form found on our sign up page, we will contact them with current and future studies that their children could participate in.

COVID FAQs

Q: What is your vaccination policy?

A: Georgetown University requires all students and faculty on campus to be vaccinated and boosted; however, you do not need to be vaccinated to participate in any of our studies. 

Q: What are the mask requirements?

A: Georgetown University requires that all adults wear a mask including visitors, faculty, and staff, on campus and in buildings. Children under the age of 2 do not need to wear a mask. We will wear a mask if we visit your home.

Q: What is your health policy?

A: We will text you on the day of the visit with COVID symptom screening questions. We cancel and reschedule your visit if either you or your baby exhibit COVID symptoms on the day of the visit. You do not need a COVID test to visit campus.
