Eye Tracking

Ages: 6 to 9 months & 12 to 14 months

In the early stages of life, we begin to make sense of the world through our eyes. At the Early Learning Project, we are interested in looking at how young children attend to the information in the world.

For this study we use  an eye tracking device, which is an instrument that is widely used among infant and child researchers studying perceptual, cognitive, and social-emotional development. The eye tracking will take place while your child is sitting on your lap in front of a computer screen that is displaying videos. Participation in this study will involve a short visit to the Georgetown campus, which will last about 45 minutes to an hour. See details about how this visit will go in the video below.
