Kelley York is a first-year graduate student at Howard University School of Social Work and a native Washingtonian. She obtained her undergraduate degree from West Virginia University, where she studied Psychology and Sociology. Kelley enjoys her role as a facilitator with Connect to Baby and aims to provide a safe space for families to learn more about themselves, their coparents, and their newborn babies.
Brieanna Moyd is a master’s student in School Psychology at Howard University. Her background is in early childhood interventions and programming. Prior to joining Connect to Baby, Brieanna worked for the national early education organization Jumpstart. She loves watching parents and families grow as they move through the Connect To Baby program.
Kevon Harris is a graduate student at Howard University’s School of Social Work. She received a Master’s in Public Health from George Washington University. Kevon has dedicated close to ten years of her career supporting adolescent programming within the DC area. As a young African American woman, she values working with a diverse group of families throughout the District. She also loves that Connect To Baby recognizes the importance of both mothers and fathers in a baby’s life.
Erik Jones is a graduate student at Howard University’s School of Social Work. He has worked for various nonprofit and government organizations, including the National Institutes of Health and the DC-based organization Project ACTION. A Connect To Baby team member since January 2019, Erik’s appreciates the way Connect To Baby emphasizes simple but important skills that any family can adapt to their unique needs.
